Beach Way USA is just a place somewhere in the world. Maybe it's a lot like your world. Maybe it's nothing like it. But, if you look closely you might see someone like you. Someone trying to find their way; someone trying to find their place; someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one in the world who's struggling, who’s frustrated, or unsatisfied at barely getting by. But, that feeling is a lie and if you just hold on; just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find the way and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes, someone to help us hear the music in the world. To remind us that it won’t always be this way. That someone is out there, and that someone will find you.

Typical High School - Beachwood High
It is amazing how you can
Spend the rest of your life
Reacting to how you were
Defined in high school
So cruel…..
By others, and how it
Never seems to go away
No matter what you say
Like a bad dream.
Those cliques of jocks,
And burnouts, nerds,
Brains, and whatever else
You can fathom,
Not the mention the ones
That seemed totally anonymous,
Relegated to no status that even
A label can give.
The torments, derision, pranks
That are heaped around
Can surround
the mind
And pockmark it forever.
The varieties are endless
It can motivate for the good, the
Bad and the ugly.
Smugly
Clinging to the social structures
That adults have created.
Be cool
Rule
Laugh at the fool
Class clowns
Scholastic renown
That chokes the life out with
Expectations
As it someday hits you
most will never come true.
It was
All
A
Lie!

Or, rather 'dood, look at that chick'. Several people in the store were looking at the rather eccentric girl who walked into the store. Eccentric is something you could say for the girl, honestly. First of all, she had an utter strange name. Lirric. Then, there was the whole deal with the white-blonde hair and the leopard spots. And her clothes...well, actually very cool. She wore pink fuzzy snowboots that came up to her shin and had little furry balls(hehe) on the side. Her dark skinny jeans were tucked into them and you could see the pair of black and pink striped legwarmers poking out. Lirric's was a black, tight tee with the entire Hello Kitty gang on it. And under the tee was a bright pink thermal. With thumb-holes! Overtop, she wore what looked like a small, fuzzy black beast. It was, of course her big black winter coat, but it was kind of fuzzy.
The people quit staring after a moment, already bored with Lirric's looks. She smiled softly to the people and retreated to the back. Where all of the 'Indie' music was. The undiscovered artists, you know. Leafing through the stacks of CD's, Lirric found nothing she wanted or needed. She sighed and went over to the alternative stuff. Leafing though these, she found a loverly CD she'd wanted for...well, ever. It was pretty common in some stores, but she wanted a special copy. VIVA LA COBRA! "SPLEE! I GOT IT!" Several people looked at her once again and Lirric blushed furiously. Not because of the outburst, but because she was afraid of what the other people thought. Ducking her head, she scurried down the isle to get to the cash register. But, she, being completely doofusy and clutzy ran into someone and fell backwards(over a minute particle, mind you). She looked up and blushed for the umpteenth time today. "Gah! Sorry! I'm such a clumsy-klutz." She giggled nervously, looking around for her CD she must have dropped.
